Come build with us in El Salvador – stay tuned for upcoming trip dates
In 2011, the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County’s Board of Directors approved a partnership with Hábitat El Salvador. Since that partnership began, 11 groups of volunteers from Dane County have traveled to El Salvador to build homes and help provide adequate housing for hard-working families within the beautiful country.
Habitat Dane started donating internationally in 1990 and has tithed a total of $784,780 to more than 30 countries across the globe. The number of families served internationally by Habitat for Humanity of Dane is 199 families.

“It was a TERRIFIC week to share with all you folks. MUCHO GRACIAS! To help Victor & Ides begin their house, interact with so many Salvadorians, the learning, the laughs, the camaraderie shared amongst us, the support, the quality teamwork effort, and fun shared made for a wonderful experience. I appreciate it all so much.” – Dee Wylie, Habitat volunteer.
